    Even if the Avocadoes turn out to be bad....just plant the tree from seeds. You can then graft >30 avocado varieties of your choice on 1 single tree! My avocados from seedling tastes quite nice. But even then I chopped some of the branches and then grafted multiple avocado varieties and now I can enjoy different avocados for 5 months !

    i grew mine to 15ft tall then my parents cut it down as they were worried the roots would go damage the foundation of the house. so now i am planting one in their garden, as they have a bigger house in the country. not sure it will be right for the uk cold wet winters, but i will enjoy watching it grow

    I was told to peel the brown skin off,wrap the seed in a wet paper towel and place it in a zip lock bag. Then place in a dark dry place. I put mine in a cabinet that doesn’t get opened daily. Within 3 weeks it grew roots! I was blown away. I then potted in soil and placed in my kitchen window. It is now about a foot and a half tall! I was so happy how fast this happened. ❤ From start til now it’s been about 7-8 weeks❤

    "Are these fruits dangerous or delicious?" "Yes!" Fun Fact: Pineapple have the exact same "needles" in their flesh when you look at them through a microscope. We all had that stinging sensation before. It's actually the reason I don't like fresh pineapple. Always freaked me out as a kid what that weird feeling is. 😆

    The best way to eat these is to peel the whole fruit and cut into thickish slices and eat them as pieces, that way you get the full textural experience, like slimy, sweet and sour bubblewrap. They are my favourite thing to grow in the garden. You lose 80% of the experience if you scoop the seeds out rather than eating as slices.

    Hello from California, so its starting to cool down in the evenings, would this be a good time to plant seeds & just before winter hits plant in ground? Please advice 😂 love peaches & Nectarines so I'm excited to see what happens❤❤❤❤❤

    • @blackkennedy3966
      @blackkennedy3966 2 дня назад

      I’m growing Nectaplums from seed and they are doing ok in the ground rn I do theorize they might grow faster in the autumn as temps cool because they don’t seem to enjoy the heat so much as seedlings my adult Nectaplum and a peach like the heat they don’t seem bothered by it and the adult peach grew super fast like twice it size this year. I also planted a cherry pit from cherries that were grown in Sacramento zone 9 down here in Southern California zone 10 and I expect it to fruit for sure the parent tree was probably one of those “royal” type cherries brought the fruits in the store I regret not saving more pits just got one seedling :( anyways That one meanwhile has exploded in growth after I planted it. I planted a peach from Chile in my yard too and it grew really fast during the spring I planted the seed in a pot around may and planted it around June and like I said it’s slowed down like the nectaplums since summer had started. And I’m assuming it will grow faster this October and November. My method was to peel the skin off the almonds and just plant them in normal potting soil with some sand mixed in a bit of perlite and it works good stratification isn’t needed when you do that and I feel like tricking the seed making it think we actually have cold winters here might be bad for adaption imo.
